What We Do
LAMB is a ministry based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras that is devoted to loving the world in Jesus' name. There are four primary areas of ministry included in LAMB:
The LAMB Institute is a training center for Hondurans called to world mission. Training includes seminary-type classes as well as evening seminars and weekend conferences. Also included are practicums that provide the students with real world experience. LAMB graduates have served abroad in India and - currently - in Pakistan. Other graduates are currently serving in ministry to the poor in Honduras and among children of prosititues in Tegucigalpa.
God's Littlest Lambs Daycare, Kindergarten and School is the foundation for the Christian FamilyCare Center in Flor del Campo, the poor community in Tegucigalpa where LAMB is housed. God's Littlest Lambs School provides a quality education in a Christian environment for children in kindergarten through grade three. The daycare offers a safe place for children whose mothers would otherwise be forced to leave them home alone while they seek work. Also offered here are parenting classes, health screenings, and counselling services.
God's Littlest Lambs Residential Children's Home is a refuge for Honduran children who have no loving or safe home environment. Some of the 40+ children who live here have been abused or neglected and have been placed with us through Honduran social services. Some of the children have been abandoned by their own families and rescued by God's grace.
Community Assistance Programs (CAP) provide help for those most in need in the community surrounding LAMB. CAP includes a Food Bank that distributes various food items to families who might otherwise be without. There is also construction assistance, and health clinics provided by short-term volunteer groups.
