"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." John 15:5-8

Prayer is the foundation for all we do! We find the basis for this in scripture as well as in the lives of missionaries who have gone before us and modeled what a life of prayer looks like. There is a group of extremely dear and loving people who have committed to pray regularly for LAMB. If you would like to join the prayer team and receive regular LAMB prayer requests, please enter your email address below. We will contact you periodically with specific prayer requests.

In addition to specific prayer requests, it is important that we don't overlook asking God to be a part of our daily operation. Here are some ways that you can pray for us on a regular basis:

Pray that we would keep God at the center of all we do and that we always remember to take or needs and concerns to the cross before anything else.

Pray for this prayer group. That the Lord would encourage us in our prayers, and that each person who has committed to pray would see the fruit of prayer not just in the growth of LAMB but in their own lives.

Pray for wisdom, guidance and encouragement for Suzy, Gladys (Executive Director), David (Volunteer Coordinator, HN), Evelyn (Administrator, HN), Valerie (Director of the children's home, HN), Wheeler (CAP coordinator), the US Board, Margaret (Director of Operations, US) and everyone else in leadership with LAMB.

Pray that the Lord would call Honduran couples to our ministry as house parents to provide the children with models of wholesome Christian romantic relationships as well as parenting relationships.

Pray for the health and safety of our children. Pray that they receive love and education, and that they grow up with passion and knowledge of Christ. Pray that Jesus would heal the pain from the abuse and neglect to which many of them have been subject.

Pray for our staff at the children's home and school that they would have patience and wisdom to love and care for our children.

Pray for the construction at San Buanaventura. Pray for the safety of all those who are working. Pray for the provision of finances, material, and skilled workers.

Pray for LAMB graduates involved in ministry - in Honduras as well as those preparing to serve abroad. Pray that God would make a way for them and would provide all that they need.

Pray for the safety of our short term mission groups and long term missionaries. Pray that the Holy Spirit comes among them on their trips and that they have a trip as rich in spiritual growth as it is in hard work.

Pray with us for God's financial provision. This is an ongoing challenge that we place in the hands of the Lord. Every month we rely on the Lord to provide sufficient financing to pay salaries and expenses for all of LAMB's ministries. Please pray for more regular supporters and for people and churches who want to partner with LAMB.

Pray for those who do support us already, giving thanks for the way God is supplying for our needs through their generosity and faithfulness. Pray that God would continue to place our needs on the hearts of individuals and groups.

Pray for Suzy's dear friend and fellow veteran missionary to Honduras, Betsy Hake, who is very ill. Pray for her healing and for the staff at Jericho ministries which she founded.
